Tribute Eatery & Bar is expanding to Ankeny, IA, with an anticipated opening in August! We’re on the lookout for experienced, personable, energetic, and detail-oriented Servers to join our growing team.

Tribute Eatery & Bar is a vibrant, full-service restaurant and bar proudly established in Coralville, Iowa. Known for mouthwatering food and a unique twist on beloved American classics, Tribute pairs crave-worthy comfort food with craft cocktails, curated wines, and local beers. With its energetic atmosphere and welcoming team, Tribute has quickly become a local favorite—and now, we’re bringing that same charm and flavor to our second location in Ankeny, Iowa.

As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a fast-paced dining environment. You will be the main point of contact for guests during their dining experience, ensuring their satisfaction by offering timely, attentive, and friendly service. Grow with us as a Server in our dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environment!

Starting Pay for fully trained Servers: $4.35 per hour + tips, tipped out nightly.

Schedule: Full or part-time. Shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on your availability. Saturday/Sunday availability is required.

Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work on average 30 hours per week or more.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering a warm welcome.
• Present menu items and daily specials, providing recommendations as needed.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure a high level of service throughout their dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Ensuring that tables, chairs, and dining areas are clean and well-organized. Assisting with resetting tables for the next guests.
• Process payments, provide accurate bills, and manage the checkout process efficiently.
• Complete assigned opening and closing duties, including sidework, cleaning, and stocking.
• Complying with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Juggling the responsibilities of serving multiple tables at once, ensuring all guests are attended to without long waits.
• Assisting other servers, host, bar, or kitchen staff during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays of food or drinks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food and beverage safety practices is a plus.
