Peerless Energy Systems is the Nebraska and Iowa distributor for Sullair compressors and ancillary compressed air equipment.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to be our new Sales Rep in the Eastern Iowa market.
This position will earn a base salary between $40K and $60K depending on experience. Commissions will be earned on all equipment sales, rentals, and parts sold in your territory.
Successful senior salespeople in the compressed air industry typically earn well over $150K per year with base plus commissions.
Peerless Energy Systems designs, installs, and maintains large industrial compressed air systems, vacuum & blower equipment, and other industrial equipment.
As a member of our sales team, your primary responsibilities will be selling equipment, rentals, and parts while maintaining customer relationships. This is a technical sales position. You will be calling on industrial manufacturers, food processors, fabrication shops, hospitals, chemical plants, ethanol plants, power plants, and many other industrial businesses.

This position does require a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Eastern Iowa salesperson:
- This is a full-time position, you will be expected to be on the road in the territory 3-4 days per week, days you are not on the road making sales calls you will be expected to be in the office.
- Prospecting is to be knocking on doors, calling customers, and in person meetings.
- Candidate must be driven to succeed.
- Preferably sales experience or industrial experience, but the right attitude and personality are most important.
- Work hand in hand with the branch manager to set weekly goals, maps and plans.
- All leads and/or quotes will go through the branch manager for guidance.
- At least one day in the office per week for planning and discussions.
- Training will be provided for industry specific information.
- Must be truthful and honest.
- 180-day probationary period with ongoing weekly training/mentoring, followed by 30-day reviews of progress in the role.
