Views of Burlington is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to organize and oversee nursing operations in the Assisted Living in Burlington, Iowa. The ideal candidate will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards, policies, and working well with others. A successful Director of Nursing should have once been a hard-working and compassionate RN or LPN who steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. The goal is to foster an environment that will support everyone including the tenants, their families, and staff.

- Operations Support – a dedicated Regional Operations Director consults each of our facilities allowing you have management mentorship for budgets, financials, employee relations etc. Each Regional Operations Director consults less than ten facilities, allowing for more time for oversight and assistance at your facility.
- Nursing Consultants – a large group of experienced RNs who are trained in consulting facilities and can assist with training topics for employees.
- Work/Life Balance - Our facility rotates on-call schedules, the DON as an assistant Universal Worker which allows you more time for work/family balance!
Job Overview and Requirements
- Training For Position: Formal and Informal
- Physical Requirements: Light lifting and carrying
- Education: Registered Nursing Degree or Licensed Nursing Degree
- Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of DON experience, preferably in a long-term care community.
