Tribute Eatery & Bar is expanding to Ankeny, IA, with an anticipated opening in August! We’re looking for full-time and part-time Prep Cooks to join our growing team!
Tribute Eatery & Bar is a vibrant, full-service restaurant and bar proudly established in Coralville, Iowa. Known for mouthwatering food and a unique twist on beloved American classics, Tribute pairs crave-worthy comfort food with craft cocktails, curated wines, and local beers. With its energetic atmosphere and welcoming team, Tribute has quickly become a local favorite—and now, we’re bringing that same charm and flavor to our second location in Ankeny, Iowa.

Starting Pay for Prep Cooks: $15 per hour and up based on experience.
Schedule: Full or part-time. Shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on your availability.
Full-time Benefits: Available for all full-time employees who work on average 30 hours per week or more.

Expectations
- Perform routine kitchen tasks.
- Follow the prep list created to plan duties.
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
- Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking.
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
- Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
- Undertake basic cooking duties, such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.
- Prepare simple dishes, such as salads and entrees.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
- Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6 months or more of prep cook experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of walking or standing
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 40 pounds at a time.
