Benefits
Product and Service Sales
- Personally engage with your customers to sustain and increase sales, while developing a sales plan to gain new customers.
- Monitor and manage the status of accounts receivable and collaborate with sales staff, the office assistant, and the Twin State Credit Manager to ensure all accounts comply with the company's credit policy.
- Stay current on new company and industry products and trends and understand how they will benefit your customer base and impact your facility and team.
- Be capable of forecasting and planning your facility's annual sales of fertilizer, crop protection products, and seed, while collaborating with Twin State management to acquire raw materials, products, and supplies.
Personnel
- Organize your team to guarantee the completion of fieldwork at your location and be the leader of your team at the location.
- Hire and oversee the management of seasonal employees.
- Manage and coach your salespeople and their development through motivation and support.
- Help salespeople:
- Identify sales goals
- Develop individual sales plans
- By spending time on sales calls when needed
- Build on strengths and improve on weaknesses
- Supervise operations staff and identify maintenance needs for the facility and rolling stock, then implement a plan to address them promptly.
- Be fully aware of Twin State and governmental policies for hiring, dismissing, and conduct in the workplace, and ensure that all policies are followed.
Facility and Asset Prevention
- Manage the maintenance of fixed assets and rolling stock to ensure all items operate efficiently, safely, and project a positive image for Twin State/Liqui-Grow.
- Create an annual prioritized list of your facility's projects with cost estimates to submit for review and approval by Twin State management.
- Stay abreast of regulations, record keeping, and training requirements to keep facility and personnel in compliance with the State Department of Agriculture, FMCSA, EPA, OSHA, Insurance company, and Twin State policies. Collaborate with Twin State management to develop and implement a comprehensive program that meets all requirements.
- Help develop and implement location business plans that maximize profitability.
